O My Shot!: Would you pay $1,500 to have the best orgasm in your life? | The O-Shot

There are over 260 million adults in the United States.[1] Half of our population is comprised of women. Now what if we told you that 50% of women suffer from some form of sexual dysfunction? That means that over 65 million women aren’t having great sex. While there are plenty of tips and tricks out there to assist women in the bedroom, they often times just serve as band-aids that cover up the real issues at hand. Even more unfortunate is the fact that there is currently only one FDA approved drug designed to assist the female libido––Addyi––which is not covered by insurance, and has shown to be relatively ineffective.[2] Only recently has there been a breakthrough in regenerative medicine that has allowed a woman to have the best orgasm of her life: the O-Shot.

The Key to Pleasure Lies Within Yourself

More often than not, our ability to reach an orgasm tends to decline as we age. There are many factors that can contribute to this, but a few of the main reasons are that nerve and vaginal tissue regeneration slows, vaginal muscles weaken, and a change in hormone levels. Fortunately, the O-Shot can change all of that.

The O-Shot is a type of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy. This non-surgical, two hour procedure is the latest innovation in sexual rejuvenation.[3] The protocol starts with a blood draw. We then place the vials of blood in a centrifuge so that the blood platelets separate from the other blood cells. These platelets contain highly active growth hormones that assist in repairing cells, cell life longevity, tissue rejuvenation, and in the formation new blood vessels and capillaries.[4] We then extract these platelets and administer them into the vaginal tissues subcutaneously.

Awaken Yourself: The Benefits of the O-Shot

The benefits of the O-Shot include…[5]

  • Increased desire
  • Stronger orgasm
  • Increased sensitivity
  • Tighter vaginal skin
  • Relief from pain during sex
  • The ceasing of urinary incontinence

...most importantly, women who receive the O-Shot can experience a sexual awakening.[6] Not only does the O-Shot intensify a woman’s pleasure, but it can also increase her confidence and the intimacy between her and her partner.

So, the question still stands: would you pay $1,500 for all of this?

The Vajacial: The Facial for “Down There”

One common struggle among women of all ages are those pesky razor-burn bumps that seem to always appear after shaving “down there”. It may feel like you use almost everything to prevent those tiny red dots from showing up. You use “sensitive skin” shaving creams, extra-moisturizing lotions and three different kinds of oils, and yet razor-burn manifests without fail each time. But as of recently there’s been a new highly talked about procedure on the market that may help treat razor-burn: The Vajacial.

What is The Vajacial?

The Vajacial is a relatively new treatment that many say was started by California’s Stript Wax Bar. During the 50-minute procedure, they start with “a cleanse and anti-bacterial wash of the bikini area,” then “is followed by a papaya enzyme mask that gets rid of skin cells that trap hairs.” Next, they extract “ingrown hairs with a pair of tweezers. Finally, another mask is applied.” [1]

Though many have compared The Vajacial to having a facial, many clients have said that the treatment is definitely more of a clinical procedure than a therapeutic spa service. [2, 3]

Several people have reported having smoother skin upon completion of The Vajacial, but many of those same people have noted that the red dots from acne, ingrown hairs, and razor-burn remained post-treatment. [4, 5]

THE “SPECIAL TREATMENT” FOR WOMEN HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. Quietly.

It's only been recently that female sexuality has been a hot topic of conversation. For a very long time, it may have seemed as though men received gotten the “special treatment” when it came to medically treating sexual dysfunction. Now is finally time to have that much-needed discussion about female sexual dysfunction.

MORE THAN YOU THINK

It is estimated that around 43% of women of all ages suffer from sexual dysfunction...and that’s just based on the number of those who have reported their frustrations. Considering this, “the actual number of women [could] be greater than 50%--some estimate to be at least 60%...That means that with 150 million women in the US in 2010, at least 50 million women suffer with these problems.” [1]

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES AND SYMPTOMS?

Unfortunately, we lose sexual libido as we age due to hormonal changes and life stress. Some of the other potential causes include diabetes, adrenal disorders, neurological conditions, arthritis, and the usage of certain medications and drugs. [2]

Symptoms of sexual dysfunction in women include--but are not limited to--reduced libido, difficulty reaching orgasm, decreased lubrications, and loss of self-esteem. [3]

TREATMENTS FOR FEMALE SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION

There is currently only one FDA approved drug for female sexual dysfunction called Addyi (flibanserin). However, there could be possible problems with Addyi as this medication is very new (it was approved in late 2015). Thus, there hasn’t been enough time to truly see all of the benefits and issues with the drug. One thing to keep in mind is that it does come with a boxed warning that highlights the risks of severe hypotension and syncope [loss of consciousness] in patients who drink alcohol during treatment with Addyi.” It can also potentially cause central nervous system depression. [4]

Other treatments include “vaginal estrogen or topical testosterone, psychotherapy,” or “hormone therapies.” The results of these treatments being described as "short-term".  [5]

THE O-SHOT: ALTERNATIVE THERAPY USING REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

If you’re looking for a more natural therapy, Regeneris Medical can provide you just that with the O-Shot- a revolutionary alternative therapy for female sexual dysfunction. Just like the P-Shot, (for males with erectile dysfunction) the O-Shot is a “simple, relatively painless, office-based procedure which utilizes PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma – blood-derived growth factors) to rejuvenate the tissues” of the vagina. Some of the potential benefits of the O-Shot include [as listed by http://oshot.info/]:

  • Greater arousal from clitoral stimulation
  • Younger, smoother skin of the vulva (lips of the vagina).
  • A tighter introitus (vaginal opening)
  • Stronger orgasm
  • More frequent orgasm
  • Increased sexual desire
  • Increased ability to have a vaginal orgasm
  • Decreased pain for those with dyspareunia (painful intercourse)

Erectile Dysfunction and Sexual Wellness for Men

In order for man’s penis to function normally and sustain an erection, there must be proper desire, i.e., a stimulus to the brain, as well as an adequate blood supply to circulate to the nerves of the penis. Unfortunately many men around the world are familiar with symptoms of Erectile Dysfunction (ED), a condition which primarily makes it difficult for a man to sustain an erection.

Up to 30 Million US Men Have Erectile Dysfunction

Estimates by researchers of the number of American men who suffer from ED vary, but according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Kidney and Digestives Diseases (a division of the National Institute of Health [NIH]), up to 30 million men may suffer from ED. In addition, although it’s generally associated with aging, younger man can be affected as well. Statistically, researchers' estimates break down the percentages of men in the United States who are affected by ED as follows:

  • 12% of men younger than 60
  • 22% of men ages 60 to 69
  • 30% of men age 70 or older (1)

Emotional Effects

ED can be devastating in that it can affect relationships, self-esteem and cause depression. As a result, men may find it a difficult topic to discuss with a medical professional. However, ED may be symptom of other health problems and should be addressed with a health care provider, such as a urologist, who will perform a medical and sexual history, a physical exam as well as blood and other tests to determine the causes of a patient’s ED.

Causes and Symptoms

Potential causes of ED are numerous and range from injury, stress and anxiety, feeling unattractive, depression, hormonal imbalances such as a low level of testosterone, excess weight, prostate surgery, over-consumption of alcohol, smoking, illegal drug use, to physical diseases such as high blood pressure and artherosclerosis. In addition, prescription medications such as diuretics, anti-depressants, high blood pressure medications can also be potential causes of ED (2).

Treatments for ED

There are drugs that can treat ED in men of all ages. Some are sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra) and tadalafil (Cialis) – ones that are frequently seen and heard about in mass media advertising. According to www.healthline.com, these medications “increase nitric oxide to stimulate blood flow upon sexual arousal,” but the nitric oxide may also cause headaches (3). Oral testosterone may also be prescribed for men who have ED due to low levels of natural testosterone, but it too may have negative side effects on the liver and may also affect other, existing health problems (4).

The P-Shot – An Alternative Therapy

Regeneris Medical now offers a revolutionary alternative therapy for erectile dysfunction, known as the P-Shot. The P-Shot is a simple, relatively painless, office-based procedure which utilizes PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma – blood-derived growth factors) to rejuvenate the tissues of the penis. Some of the potential benefits of the P-Shot include:

  • Increased penis size
  • Enhanced erections
  • Strengthened and straightened penis
  • Increased circulation
  • Increased sensation and pleasure
